Last updated: 22 April 2026. Plain-English version, because legal opacity is how trust gets leaked.
Opt.team ("we", "us", "our") is a senior-led SEO and GEO agency. This policy covers the marketing website at opt.team, the client platform at app.opt.team, and the services we deliver to clients.
When you email us: your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this to reply and, if you become a client, to deliver the service.
When you book a call: Calendly collects the name, email, and any answers you provide. See Calendly's own privacy policy for their handling.
When you run the Boost Potential Calculator: the URL you paste is sent to a CORS proxy so we can fetch the rendered HTML. We do not store it, log it server-side, or send it anywhere else. The analysis runs in your browser.
When you become a client: we collect the business details needed to deliver the service, including domain, CMS platform credentials (WordPress editor role or Shopify token), Google Search Console access if granted, and billing contact info. All stored in Supabase (EU-hosted project) with row-level security.
When you visit the marketing site: Cloudflare handles the request and may log standard web-access data (IP, user-agent, path) for abuse prevention. We do not run client-side analytics or third-party trackers on opt.team.
To reply to you, propose or deliver work, run the monthly boost cadence against your site, and send you the account emails (plan, approvals, recap). We do not sell, rent, or share personal data for advertising. We do not have an ad business.
Correspondence and account data live as long as the commercial relationship is active and for a standard seven-year audit window after. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing sam@opt.team.
The data processors that touch personal data on our behalf:
You can ask what we hold, correct it, delete it, or export it. Email sam@opt.team and we'll respond within 30 days.
Credentials you share with us (WordPress editor role, Shopify access token, GSC OAuth grant) are scoped to the minimum needed to deliver the work, stored encrypted, and accessible only to the senior strategist on your account.
The marketing site at opt.team does not set tracking cookies. The app at app.opt.team uses a session cookie to keep you signed in, required for the service to function.
If this policy changes materially, we'll email active clients before the change takes effect. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
